Update from Electric Arcadia

Hi there earthlings,

My film project that I shot while at Arteles in Finland took a pause for a while, but I have recently been making some progress.

During the weekends this January, I have been working in-residency at Electric Arcadia, a studio / retreat / event space and home of Linda Heck in Sewanee, Tennessee. While in Sewanee, I have wandered around the University of the South's campus, revisited the footage I shot in Finland and worked on animations that will be a part of the final four-part series. I also took this time to learn a new animation program - Procreate Dreams - which I am loving.

Here's a test video that gives a small hint to where I'm going with this project:

After this retreat, I am excited to say I will be giving a deeper look at my current works-in-progress for the film project here at Electric Arcadia as part of Linda's Sunday Sonic Salon happening Sunday, February 11th from 2-5 PM. My dear friend Arjun Kulharya will be performing his freeform sitar music and I am also hoping to debut a music video I've recently completed for my friend Miriam Erickson, as well. There will be refreshments and communing with cool artists and a lovely escape from Nashville for a spell.

In the meantime, I am feeling optimistic about my timeline on this yet-to-be-properly-named film project and will most certainly keep all of you up to date on its journey. I have also recently created a physical mailing list called cool + weird, art + magic ~ please sign up if you'd like to receive surprise snail mail invitations, alien valentines, Wendell Berry poems, etc.

All the best,

Bunny
